Omschrijving

  • Conduct annual discovery/strategy sessions with all clients;
  • Deliver financial advice through the presentation of options with a recommendation that clearly articulates the value to the client;

  •  

    Review, understand and be up to date on the clients financial situation leveraging the financial and client knowledge obtained from the annual review process;
  • Develop, manage and action a personal development plan that ensures sales, relationship management and product/service knowledge of clients is at an appropriate level to manage the complexity of the portfolio;
  • Build, advance and actively replenish a pipeline of prospective clients in order to achieve New Client Acquisition goals;
  • Build and retain an active network of Centre's of Influence and Communities of Interest;
  • Develop needs based sales strategies with input from appropriate partners of the organization, for all clients and prospects in order to create or increase revenue, client profitability and client loyalty; 
  • Develop individual market and sales plans in order to acquire new clients to the organization;
  • Exercise due diligence in recommending / preparing solutions (e.g. knows your client, know the transaction, risk analysis and client strategy);
  • Improve/ensure risk position is regularized or shored up by seeking out opportunities and taking appropriate action;
  • Take appropriate action to correct lending excesses and/or remedy ‘out of order' collateral security;
  • Manage effectively and complete expired credits as well as ongoing credit approvals;
  • Prepare on a timely basis and ensure adherence to all reporting requirements specific to Annual Credit Reviews, Watch list Reports, Call Reports etc.

Kennis en vaardigheden

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Finance, Banking or equivalent professional qualification. Masters Degree in Business Administration or other relevant discipline would be an asset;
  • Successful completion of the Omega Credit Training Program or other related credit training;
  • At least three (3) years experience as a Relationship Manager with demonstrated capability of managing a client portfolio;
  • Proven business/profit and client orientation;
  • Ability to achieve business targets set by maximizing business development/cross selling opportunities;
  • Ability to effectively undertake basic negotiations with existing and new clients in order to ensure achievement of the Unit's strategic objectives;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated aptitude for managing client relationships;
  • Initiative and a demonstrated ability to accept accountability and assume leadership;
  • Applied analytical abilities, flexible and problem solving skills;
  • Fluent verbally and written in Dutch and English;
  • Willing to travel.
