As a Business Development Executive you - with a team of business development executives and management - fulfill a pivotal role in the sustainable and valuable growth of the organisation. You are responsible for product and market development, marketing and sales of a broad scope of near financial products, all in line with the company’s business and risk appetite and founded on the five pillars; sustainable clients, business continuity, differentiating knowledge and quality control. You display the necessary agility and expertise to remodel existing products and services, and develop new ones, meeting today and tomorrow’s changing market demands. You are a market maker and therefore expand our turnover in existing markets and develop new market opportunities, leading to increased sales in accordance with the Five Pillars. You liaise with fellow Business Development Executives in the offices worldwide. The companies international business demands that you travel regularly and you are therefore expected to be flexible to work after business hours. You closely collaborate with the compliance officers and relationship managers alike in order to offer a superior sustainable product and service to both prospects and clients.
Job requirements and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in the field of (Tax) Law, Economics or Business Administration.
- 5 years relevant industry or position experience.
- Willingness to travel frequently.

You have sales DNA; you understand prospective clients’ wishes, are able to match these with specific products and services and able to convert this prospect into a client. You know the rules of the game, while closing a deal, internal and external compliance are adhered to. You are comfortable talking about fees, are convinced of our products, services and qualities, carry supportive beliefs. You are able to deal with rejection and have little need for approval. You are effective in prospecting (qualitative potential clients) and are able to reach decision makers. You are good at multi-tasking, and have a hands-on mentality. You have good research and analytical skills, business intelligence and are forward thinking. You carry an entrepreneurial orientation and foster innovation. Furthermore you have excellent written and oral communication, as well as presentation skills in English, Dutch, and Spanish preferably.
