In this challenging position you will work at a well-known dealership on Bonaire and oversee various departments to ensure the profitability and establish healthy growth.

Responsibilities: 

  • You will oversee the sales-, service- and parts departments and provide the headquarters located on Curacao with suggestions regarding treats, opportunities, weakness and strengths with the focus on overall operation improvement and sustainable growth of the company;
  • Support the headquarters with all required back-office data & activities including the accounting and finance processes of the business;
  • Your responsibilities also include guiding and motivating employees, planning events and promotions, with the goal of ensuring customer satisfaction, oversee daily operations from an elevated perspective, share KPI reports on monthly basis, work with- and achieve targets, plan & set goals. You typically also support headquarters with hiring employees;
  • Other duties include relationship building with both employees and customers. You are responsible for coordinating all sales activities and having weekly follow-ups with headquarters. Guard the entire inventory, not excluding the entire parts, vehicles, tools & office materials. Make sure that all company belongings are treated with respect to avoid unnecessary damage to merchandise/inventory/building/etc.

Kennis en vaardigheden

  • Business degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years experious in a management role.
  • Previous experience as sales staff in a dealership is a pre.
  • Knowledge of the other departments within a dealership, especially parts and service is a pre.
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurship spirit.
  • Very operational and hands-on, pragmatic, a do-er.
  • Has a clear vision and energetically drives growth.
  • Constant focus on quality and costs.
  • Inspirational leader, motivating and empowering approach
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Autonomous and a self-starter with the ability to take the initiative to create new opportunities & to analyze information and develop solutions involving technical problems.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work efficiently.
  • A sense of urgency, strong results orientation and highly proactive.
  • No nine-to-five mentality.
