Position Purpose:

As a Sales Manager, you determine the destination (your sales result) and set a course (sales plan) to achieve it. You are customers driven by offering future tech. Identify new markets and follow up customer leads, and pitch prospective customers. Be an inspiring innovator for all power solutions in the Caribbean by offering the best transition to sustainable energy. Sharing knowledge within your team of professionals with the goal to be the number 1 choice for customers and the first choice for suppliers to engage in strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Draw up a sales plan based on your budget;
  • Generating leads;
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals;
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs;
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients;
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations;
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports;
  • Analyzing markets, identifying and mapping trends;
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding relationships with customers;
  • Approach new markets and customers based on market analyzes;
  • Consult with other departments within the company to manage sales;
  • Consultation with customer, suppliers and / or other strategic partners;
  • Daily visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services;
  • Maintaining client records and forecasting;
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.

 

Kennis en vaardigheden

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field;
  • Experience in sales;
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics;
  • A commitment to excellent customer service;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers;
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks;
  • Passion to make impact and be part of the energy transition;
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment;
  • Languages: Dutch and English.
