For our client in Curaçao, we are looking for a Brand Activation Officer with a strong background in brand management, an excellent communicator with superb project management skills.


  • As part of the Marketing Management Team contribute to the entire marketing and communication process and to the overall marketing annual calendar.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in overall strategy, set-up of annual roadmap and budget for all marketing and content.
  • Maintain the overall marketing campaign calendar and define campaign and project timelines from design to launch.
  • Create brand activation plans for the execution of overall marketing activities and campaigns.
  • Give advice on localization of global/international plans and strategies into local market success.
  • Lead execution of the overall marketing strategy across all channels in collaboration with colleagues and external agencies to improve our marketing results.
  • Write engaging briefs that inspire our creative and media agencies to deliver best in class work and brief internal teams to further bring the campaign to life in owned channels.
  • Monitor, check and evaluate the execution of the marketing and campaign budgets.
  • Analyze the results of previous campaigns.
  • Analyze customer’s behavior and insight.
  • Manage the Copy Writer by motivating, coaching and supervising him/her in the execution of the work and professional development.
  • Ensure that all marketing materials are in line with brand identity.
  • Measure, report, evaluate and present the performance of marketing & brand campaigns, marketing KPI’s & gain consumer insights and assess against goals.
  • Work alongside local marketing officers as the go-to person for IP and know-how when it comes to marketing the brand.
  • Identify the latest trends and technologies impacting retail.

Kennis en vaardigheden

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or business studies.
  • Experience with branding and marketing, preferably in retail or for FMCG/lifestyle brands.
  • Experience with customer engagement.
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns across multiple countries.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Good analyzing skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great teamplayer.
  • Excellent working ability of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Innovative thinker with out of the box mentality.
  • Good organizational skills
  • This role is relatively new and the candidate will be expected to be proactive in identifying and developing further ways in which the use of branding can be beneficial to our organization.
