This requires a strong and professional leadership team with a clear vision for the future and the ability to achieve the set goals within the given timeframe.
Global Resourcing is looking for an experienced CIO for a leading financial institution on Curaçao. You should ideally have extensive experience working in both Financial institutions and technology leadership roles. You will be responsible for enabling the whole business model on an IT scheme, effectively implementing IT platform(s) to align consumers with the organisation and its products, and vice versa, directing, building, maintaining and controlling an effective Information Technology architecture, to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and full client satisfaction. You are expected to evaluate the current technology landscape and develop the IT Master plan to support the long term business plans and objectives of the company. Constantly engage with senior stakeholders and lead the Technology team to deliver a resilient and robust IT System that meet the company and clients current and future needs.
- Minimum Bachelor (preferable Master) degree in technology area
- 15+ years of experience in software developments / architecture role.
- Ability to strategically lead and develop long term technology roadmap.
- Successful track record and experience at scaling growth stage start-ups, preferably within FinTech or Financial Services related industries.
- Ability to drive execution of technology roadmap across research and analysis, budget planning and vendor management.
- Ability to read in advance the client’s needs in application functionalities.
- In-depth understanding across all technology spectrum including but not limited to software development, database design and modelling, network, cybersecurity, information technology, technology management.
- Excellent communication skills, leadership, team player and organizational abilities.
- Broad understanding and curiosity of the latest technologies.
- Experience in establishing recognizable technologies / industry standard, including understanding of financial IT compliance is highly preferred.
