We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join their team and contribute to the resort's ongoing success.

Role Overview:
As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the resort attracts, develops, and retains top talent, while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. You will oversee all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, training, and compliance. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the employee experience at a well-regarded resort in a beautiful tropical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates across all resort departments. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection.
  • Onboarding & Training: Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new employees are well-integrated into the resort’s culture. Oversee continuous training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a key point of contact for all HR-related matters, fostering a positive working environment. Address employee concerns, manage conflict resolution, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to drive employee engagement and productivity. Provide coaching and support to department managers in performance management processes.
  • Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure the resort’s HR policies and procedures are in line with local labor laws and industry standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal requirements and provide guidance on compliance issues.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs. Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure competitiveness within the local market.
  • HR Administration: Manage HR records, employee documentation, and HR systems with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare and analyze HR reports to inform strategic decision-making.

Kennis en vaardigheden

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Experience working in a resort or hotel setting is highly desirable.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws, particularly within the Caribbean region.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Proven track record in talent management, employee engagement, and performance improvement.
  • Culturally aware and adaptable, with a genuine interest in promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest and employee experiences.
