Area of responsibility:
- Oversee and prioritize work schedules for efficient and continuous operations.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance and facilities programs.
- Plan, review, and improve operational procedures and reports.
- Direct team member training and development.
- Collaborate with other departments to align work priorities and activities.
- Support the Facilities Director in managing the departmental budget.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with department heads of all operational departments to align work priorities and activities.
- Schedule, oversee, and ensure continuous operation of facilities maintenance and repair.
- Report to the Facilities Director on departmental activities and budget management.
- Interact with contractors for project management managed within the Facilities Department.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
- Resolve team member grievances.
- Review inventories and requisition necessary tools and supplies.
- Maintain pools and spas to set standards.
- Develop and deliver departmental / team member individual training.
- Ensure full departmental attendance to Company Trainings.
- Regular inspections of units and facilities to identify upcoming preventative maintenance needs as well as development projects.
- Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor, manager or any other member of the management.
- Technical/Trade school certification in facilities, maintenance, or a related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or a related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Driver’s License (non-commercial) – Must be valid / recognized in Sint Maarten.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification is considered an advantage.
- Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification is considered an advantage.
- OSHA 30 Certification is considered an advantage.

- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
