Operations Manager

Overview:

Our client is seeking to hire an Operations Manager to join its leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing inspired leadership for the operation of one of the organization's lines of business. You will oversee the implementation of operational policies and procedures, as well as assist the Human Resources department with recruiting when necessary. Additionally, you will play a key role in promoting a company culture that encourages compliance with its core values.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

• Provide strong leadership and direction for the operation of the assigned line of business.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met.
• Motivate and inspire team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee development.

Operational Excellence:

• Implement and enforce operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Recruitment and Talent Management:

• Collaborate with the Human Resources department to identify staffing needs and assist with recruitment efforts as necessary.
• Participate in the selection, training, and development of staff to ensure a high-performing team.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their professional growth and development.

Compliance and Culture Promotion:

• Promote a company culture that aligns with the organization's core values and mission.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Lead by example and uphold ethical standards of behavior and integrity in all aspects of operations.

• Work experience within the Dutch Caribbean is a must.
