Our client is a regional postal service carrier. For the branch on Sint Maarten they are hiring a new team leader with excellent leadership skills and a sales/marketing background.


  • Responsible for the planning, coordination and control of the overall tasks of the branch;
  • Responsible for daily management reporting regarding transaction volume;
  • Responsible for customer friendliness, efficiency and accurate service to the clients;
  • Responsible for dealing with client complaints;
  • Responsible for a continuous communication with the commercial department and the Management;
  • Responsible for personnel mutations with regards to the payroll and the daily report of employees at work;
  • Responsible for accurately process and monitor all daily financial transactions in the POS system;
  • Responsible for the availability and remittance of cash;
  • Responsible for check deposits at the bank;
  • Responsible for the mid-year functioning and end year review of the employees’ performance, providing training, coaching and motivation of the employees;
  • Conduct work meetings on a regular basis;
  • Responsible for maintaining a professional communication with stakeholders (for example FIU);
  • Responsible for reporting suspicious transactions to the Supervisor MoneyGram and Financial Intelligence Unit;
  • Responsible for regular compliance reporting to the Management/ Board;
  • Must collaborate with HR as required on issues regarding training demand;
  • Must be commercial driven and eager to advise on the development of services and strategic direction of the organization according to the clients’ needs and demand;
  • Must identify opportunities to expand the business, including through partnerships and new markets;
  • Must maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients;
  • Must assess risks involved with new initiatives, ensure deadlines are met and have a hands on mentality to handle unexpected situations;
  • Must be willing to perform reasonably assigned tasks by management that are in line with the organization’s vision and mission.

Kennis en vaardigheden


  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a business related subject (a commercial degree is a pré);
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a similar position.
