Job purpose:

The HR Business Partner is a strategic and collaborative one that focuses on aligning the organization's human capital with its business objectives. The purpose of a HR Business Partner is to act as a bridge between the P&C function and the business units, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Also, this position will execute on key P&C priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide business partnering expertise across employee engagement, performance enhancement, learning and development, diversity and inclusion and talent management initiatives and programs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational development initiatives, such as culture-building activities, change management, and employee engagement programs.
  • Provide sound, risk mitigating advice and consultation on recruitment, performance, talent management and employee relations.
  • Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
  • Lead the delivery of the full recruitment lifecycle from attraction to selection to onboarding.
  • Continuously develop our employment brand and employee value proposition.
  • Support internal career development and mobility. Develop high quality people analytics reports and dashboards.
  • Create and maintain a positive, rewarding work environment that attracts and retains talented employees by developing an internal communications strategy to promote our employee benefits offering.
  • Implementing reward and recognition programs.
  • Re-designing our onboarding experience.
  • Proactively champion and role model a one company culture and our company values.
  • Promote a high performance and accountability culture.

Kennis en vaardigheden

  • Minimum Hbo-level in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Specific HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience (4- 6 years) in Human Resources, with a significant portion as a HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
  • Work experience within the Dutch Caribbean is a must.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning and execution.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen are crucial. The ability to align HR initiatives with overall business objectives and contribute to organizational success is highly valued.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • The ability to analyze complex situations, identify issues, and propose effective solutions is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of labor laws, social and legal legislation, financial administration, insurance regulations, record keeping.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with HR analytics and the ability to use data to make informed decisions and recommendations are increasingly important.
  • Familiarity with HR software and tools (e.g., Payroll Pro).
