We are looking for a highly motivated Trade Marketing Specialist to develop and execute effective marketing strategies aimed at maximizing brand visibility and driving sales within key retail and distribution channels.

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical skills to support the sales team and strengthen relationships with partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Trade Marketing Plans: Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create comprehensive trade marketing plans aligned with overall business objectives.
  2. Channel Strategy: Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth within various trade channels (e.g., retail, wholesale, e-commerce).
  3. Promotional Campaigns: Conceptualize and execute promotional campaigns and activities tailored to specific trade channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and promotional calendars.
  4. Retailer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, providing them with the necessary support and marketing materials to drive sell-through.
  5. Merchandising Support: Work closely with the merchandising team to develop effective point-of-sale materials, displays, and product packaging that enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
  6. Data Analysis: Utilize sales data, market research, and consumer insights to measure the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and identify areas for optimization.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and execution of trade marketing strategies.
  8. Training and Support: Provide training and support to the sales team and retail partners on product knowledge, marketing initiatives, and best practices for driving sales.

Kennis en vaardigheden

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3 years) in trade marketing.
  • Strong understanding of trade channels, retail dynamics, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing plans.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and market research tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with CRM software and marketing analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Must be a Dutch or US passport holder.
