The position:

Blue Bay Curaçao is seeking an ambitious and persistent Commercial Director to help shape the next chapter of our growth. As a member of the Executive Board, you define the commercial vision, strengthen the brand, and drive revenue performance across every part of the resort.

In this challenging role you lead the resort’s commercial performance with a forward-thinking strategy, developing new business opportunities, strengthening market positioning and ensuring our commercial roadmap is adopted by all departments. Your decisions directly influence how the resort evolves, innovates, and competes.

You serve as the link between commercial strategy and daily operations, bringing teams together, setting clear priorities, and ensuring both profitable and memorable guest experiences. With a deep understanding of market dynamics, you spot trends early, you anticipate shifts and drive steady sustainable growth for the resort.

Kennis en vaardigheden

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in sales, marketing, business management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in a similar role, preferably within resort management.
  • Proven track record of commercial leadership, revenue growth and brand development.
  • Analytical and result-driven, able to turn insights into actionable plans.
  • You have a persuasive and motivating personality.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch. Spanish and Papiamentu is a plus.
